Client Testimonials
Testimonial from a satisfied client
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Joann Du for approximately 15 years, both as a coworker, as well as an outside Consultant.  We’ve produced hundreds of ASME RTP-1 vessels, ASME Section X vessels, pipe, duct, and other custom equipment using her designs.  She is a professional FRP expert to say the least, especially when FEA is required.  Our large diameter vessels, 16’ID up to 60’ID all require FEA to be performed and Joann always produces the most concise, reader-friendly design reports I’ve seen.  She provides design details and sketches that make the design results very clear for the fabricator to use and for the equipment owner to understand as well.  She considers how our particular shop builds the components and designs the equipment to best fit our capabilities and standard practices, which is a rare thing in this industry for a Consultant to be willing to do.  She’s always been very timely to respond to RFQ’s and is reasonably priced considering her design package content and haste in which it’s produce.  Her knowledge does not end here.   Joann also knows several other standards, especially ASME standards.   We can send her requests to design vessels going just about anywhere and she’s generally able to provide what we need.  We never have to worry about her designs being unethical or lacking detail in any way.
Joann has personally taught me a lot of things over the years.  I genuinely appreciate her ability to be patient with all of the questions I pass her way.  I’m not familiar with all that Joann has to offer but I can say without a doubt, that she’s the best all-around FRP design Engineer I’ve met and I’m happy to know her.  - Jamey Criner, Strand Composites
